Child Seat Tether Attachment: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel.
2. Remove the child seat tether bracket to rear shelf bolts.
3. Remove the child seat tether brackets from the rear shelf.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the child seat tether brackets to the slots in the rear shelf.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the child seat tether bracket to rear shelf bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the child seat tether bracket to rear shelf bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Install the rear shelf trim panel.
