ROOF SIDE RAIL LAMP REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the screws from the assist handle.




2. Remove the side rail lamp/assist handle from the roof.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the side rail lamp on the assist handle.




4. Remove the socket from the side rail lamp housing.




5. Remove the bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the bulb to the side rail lamp socket.




2. Install the socket to the side rail lamp housing.




3. Connect the electrical connector to the side rail lamp.




4. Install the side rail lamp/assist handle to the roof.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




5. Install the screws to the assist handle.
Tighten Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
