Removal

Evaporator Removal:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Drain coolant.
2. Front dash cover and vacuum tank.
3. Relay pack.
4. Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve solenoid valve and parts.
5. Loosen harness from front of dash and move out of the way.
6. Hoses
- engine thermostat to evaporator
- evaporator to water pump.
7. Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor; bracket, and attaching rods.
8. Harness brackets on lifter cover and move out of the way.
9. Discharge A/C system.
10. Accumulator lines
- including washer reservoir to disconnect bottom accumulator lines.
11. Upper hose from power steering pump and move aside.
12. Blower motor.
13. Manifold heat shield.
14. All wiring and connectors
- including all brackets around barrier insulator.
15. All screws and bolts around barrier insulator.
16. Raise car.
17. Cut barrier insulator on the mark line of barrier insulator (right side) and remove.
