SERVICE PORTS REPLACEMENTTOOLS REQUIRED
J 39400 Halogen Leak Detector
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Recover the refrigerant from the system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the service fitting from the line.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Lubricate the 0-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the service fitting to the line.
Tighten
Tighten the service fitting to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).
3. Recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging..
4. Leak test the fittings of the repaired or reinstalled components using J 39400.
