Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair
BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - AUXILIARYREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right console accessory trim plate.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the blower resistor (2).
3. Remove the screws (1) that retain the auxiliary blower motor resistor (2).
4. Remove the auxiliary blower motor resistor from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the auxiliary blower motor resistor.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the auxiliary blower motor resistor screws (1).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (13 lb in).
3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the auxiliary blower motor resistor (2).
4. Install the console trim plate.
