Air Outlet Replacement - Defroster

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the instrument panel assembly.
3. Remove the defroster nozzle fasteners.
4. Remove the defroster nozzle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the defroster nozzle fasteners.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the defroster nozzle and screws.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

3. Install the instrument panel assembly.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
