Garage Door Opener Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the screws (1) securing the garage door opener to the overhead console.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.



Installation Procedure





1. Locate the garage door opener to the overhead console.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the screws (1) securing the garage door opener the overhead console.

Tighten the screws (1) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the overhead console. Refer to Roof Console Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) for programming and setup information.
