Wipers remain on continuously and cannot be shut off, except when turning ignition off.
Wiper blades left parked high on the windshield can become stuck by ice or snow. When the ignition is turned from off to crank position, a transient voltage spike from the wiper motor can damage the pulse wiper module.
Use P/N 10036435 to replace the existing module. Be sure the ground wire screw is secured. Torque to 3.0 to 4.6 N-m (2-3 ft.lbs.).
