THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REISSUED TO SUPERSEDE PRODUCT CAMPAIGN BULLETIN 86C02 DATED FEBRUARY, 1986. UPON RECEIPT OF THE REISSUED BULLETIN 86C02(a), DESTROY 86C02.
General Motors has determined that some early 1986 Chevrolet Corvette models may experience a no-start condition or loss of fuel delivery on start up, and loss of anti-theft protection. This condition is the result of a malfunction in the vehicle anti-theft module.
To prevent this condition from occurring, a new module will be installed. In addition, new keys will likewise be furnished.
