Ignition Coil: Description and Operation

Ignition Coil And Module:

PURPOSE
The Coil Pack creates spark, including waste spark, to ignite the fuel air mixture.

OPERATION
^ Three separate coils are mounted to the module assembly.
^ Waste spark distribution: each coil provides the spark for two plugs simultaneously, one firing at the end of the compression stroke and the other on the opposite cylinders exhaust stroke.
^ Each coil can also be replaced separately.
