1. Disconnect choke link and accelerator pump connecting rod, then remove accelerator pump lever pivot bolt and the lever, Fig. 1.
2. Remove fuel inlet union bolt and the inlet pipe.
3. Remove eight air horn retaining screws noting installation position of brackets, then disconnect choke link.
4. Lift air horn assembly with gasket from carburetor body.
5. Disconnect wire connectors, then remove primary and secondary solenoid valves.
6. Remove float hinge pin, float and needle valve assembly, then the air horn gasket and needle valve seat and gasket.
7. Remove power piston retainer, piston and spring, then pull out accelerator pump plunger and remove boot.
8. Disconnect throttle positioner link, then remove throttle positioner attaching bolts and the positioner.
9. Remove accelerator pump damper spring, retainer and inlet check ball from pump piston well.
10. Remove washer securing accelerator pump discharge weight, weight, spring and discharge check ball.
11. Remove slow jet and power valve and jet assembly. Disassemble power valve and jet assembly.
12. Remove throttle positioner levers from throttle shaft, then the main jet well plugs and main jets, noting installation position for assembly. Record stamped value and installation position of all calibrated components as they are removed to ensure proper assembly.
13. Evenly loosen Auxiliary Accelerator Pump (AAP) housing screws, then remove housing diaphragm and spring.
14. Remove AAP inlet and outlet plugs, outlet spring and both inlet and outlet check balls, noting installation position for assembly.
15. Remove primary and secondary small venturis.
16. Remove sight glass retainer, sight glass and O-ring.
17. Remove throttle return and throttle back springs, throttle lever retaining nut and the throttle lever.
18. Remove fast idle cam retaining bolt and the cam fast idle cam assembly, noting position for assembly.
19. Disconnect secondary throttle diaphragm attaching bolts and the diaphragm.
20. Remove throttle body retaining screws, throttle body and gasket. Note position of screw drilled for vacuum passage.
21. Remove concealment plug if equipped, turn idle mixture screw clockwise until lightly seated recording number of turns necessary, then remove mixture screw.
