Installation
1. Lubricate, then install two-way check valve into piston.
2. Install inboard shoe assembly as follows:
a. Engage inboard shoe edge in retainer tabs closest to caliper bridge, then press down and snap shoe tabs at open side of caliper. Ensure shoe lays flat against piston.
b. Ensure buttons on back of shoe engage D-shaped notches in piston. Rotate piston as needed with spanner wrench tool No. J-7624 or equivalent. Piston is properly aligned when one of the D-shaped notches is nearest caliper bridge.
c. Wear sensor should be at the leading edge of shoe during forward wheel rotation.
3. Install outboard shoe assembly, snapping shoe springs into holes in caliper. Ensure pad lays flat against caliper.
