Fuel Pressure Test Port: Service and Repair

Fuel Rail Assembly:

Remove or Disconnect:
1. Disconnect negative battery cable
2. Clean around fuel pressure connection
3. Relieve fuel system pressure
4. Remove fuel pressure connection and seal

Install or Connect:
1. Install new seal on fuel pressure connection
2. Install and tighten connection in fuel rail
Torque Value: 13 N-m (115 lb.in.)
3. Tighten fuel filler cap
4. Connect negative battery cable

Inspect:
Turn ignition switch to "ON" position for two seconds, then turn to "OFF" for ten seconds. Again turn to "ON" position and check for fuel leaks.
