Valve Lifter Installation

VALVE LIFTER INSTALLATION
1. Dip the valve lifters in prelube GM P/N 12345501 or equivalent.





2. Install the valve lifters.
3. Install the valve lifter guides.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the valve lifter guide bolts.
^ Tighten the valve lifter guide bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
