Coil Pack Removal

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the 14-way connector from the ignition control module.
2. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the coil assemblies.
3. Remove 6 screws (1) securing the coil assemblies to the ignition control module.
4. Remove the coils (2) from the ignition control module (3).
5. Remove the ignition control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Attach the coils to the ignition control module. Refer to ignition Control Module Replacement Ignition Coil(s).
2. Install 6 ignition coil attaching screws

Tighten
Screws to 4-5 Nm (40 lb. in.).

3. Install the nuts and washers securing the ignition control module assembly to the mounting bracket.

Tighten
Nuts to 8 Nm (70 lb. in.).

4. Connect the spark plug wires.
5. Connect the 14-way connector to module.
