Installation

1. Install the inflatable restraint IP module (1) to the instrument panel (3).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Vehicle Damage Warnings.

2. Install the inflatable restraint IP module mounting fasteners (2).
Tighten
Tighten fasteners to 3.5 N.m (31 lb. in).






3. Connect the inflatable restraint IP module yellow 2-way pigtail connector to the SIR wiring harness jumper.






4. Install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) to the inflatable restraint IP module yellow 2-way pigtail connector.
5. Install the IP trim pad.
6. Enable the SIR system.
