Revised ABS/TC Diagnostic Tables

This bulletin is being issued to revise the diagnostic routines for DTC C1276 and C1278, step 2 value(s) column. This step should read OL (Infinite). The ABS Mini Fuse (20A) will need to be removed and the 24-way EBCM connector C2 disconnected for the desired reading.

DTC C1276 Diagnostic Table - LF Solenoid Circuit Open or Short to Ground
Test Description
3. This test checks for a short to ground in the left front solenoid valve circuit.
4. This test checks for an open in the circuit 1633.
5. This test checks for an open in the battery feed circuit of the solenoid.
6. This test checks for an open in the left front solenoid valve.
7. This test checks for an open in the control circuit of the solenoid.
9. This test determines if the malfunction is caused by the EBCM.
10. This test checks for a short to ground in the left front solenoid valve.
DTC C1278 Diagnostic Table - RF Solenoid Circuit Open or Short to Ground
Test Description
3. This test checks for a short to ground in the right front solenoid valve circuit.
4. This test checks for an open or high resistance CKT 1633.
5. This test checks for an open in the battery feed circuit of the solenoid.
6. This test checks for an open in the right front solenoid valve.
7. This test checks for an open in the control circuit of the solenoid.
9. This test determines if the malfunction is caused by the EBCM.
10. This test checks for a short to ground in the right front solenoid valve.
