Rear Compartment

When pressing the rear compartment release button on the keyless entry transmitter, the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) receives a signal with a valid Vehicle Access Code (VAC).

Then, the RCDLR supplies voltage to circuit 382/56. This voltage is then applied to the rear compartment lid lock release actuator. The rear compartment lid lock release actuator is energized, opening the rear compartment lid.

If the ignition switch is in RUN position and the transaxle is shifted out of PARK, voltage is not supplied to the RCDLR circuit 275. This action prevents the rear compartment lid release from activating while the transaxle is shifted out of PARK.
