Combination Valve Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Disconnect the brake pressure differential sensor electrical connector from the side of the brake combination valve.
2. Disconnect the brake pressure modulator sensor electrical connector from the front of the brake combination valve.
3. Plug the brake pipes to prevent contamination, dirt or fluids from entering the system.
4. Remove the brake pipes from both sides of the valve.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the brake combination valve to the brake pipes.
Tighten the brake pipe tube nuts to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the brake pressure modulator sensor electrical connector to the front of the brake combination valve.
3. Connect the brake pressure differential sensor electrical connector to the side of the brake combination valve.
4. Refill the master cylinder reservoir.
5. Bleed the hydraulic brake system.
