Linear Shift - Disassemble

Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove the shift lever and seal assembly. Refer to Shift Lever - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.
2. Remove the electrical BTSI actuator assembly. Refer to Automatic Transmission Shift Lock Control - Disassemble - Off Vehicle.





3. Remove the hexagon flanged head bolt.
4. Remove the ball and actuator assembly (2).
5. Remove the shift lever clevis (1).





6. Remove 2 oval head 6-lobed socket tap screws from the shift gate. Remove the park lock cable assembly.





7. Remove the hexagon flange head bolt.
8. Remove the cable shift cam assembly (1).
9. Remove the cam bushing (2) from the cable shift cam assembly.





10. Remove 3 flat head 6-lobed socket tap screws.
11. Remove the gearshift lever assembly support bracket.
