REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Relieve the CNG fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the underhood alternative fuels components as a complete assembly.
4. Remove the fuel injector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the fuel injector.
2. Install the underhood alternative fuels components as a complete assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Connect the negative battery cable.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

4. Start the engine. Inspect for CNG fuel leaks at each serviced fitting using the J 41416.
