Child Seat Tether Attachment: Service and Repair
CHILD RESTRAINT TETHER ANCHOR REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the child tether anchor bezel using a small flat-bladed tool.
2. Remove the bolt from the child tether anchor.
3. Remove the child tether anchor from the rear shelf.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the child tether anchor tab to the alignment hole in the rear shelf.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use a power tools to tighten the child tether anchor bolts.
2. Install the child tether anchor bolt to the anchor.
Tighten
Tighten the child tether anchor bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
3. Close the child tether anchor bezel pressing into place until fully seated.
