Stabilizer Link: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the stabilizer link nut (3) from the stabilizer link bolt (6).
3. Remove the following components:
^ The stabilizer link bolt (6)
^ The insulator (5)
^ The spacer (4)

Installation Procedure





1. Install the following components:
^ The spacer (4)
^ The insulator (5)
^ The stabilizer (6)

Notice Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the stabilizer link nut (3) attaching the stabilizer link to the stabilizer link bolt (6).
^ Tighten the nut until the nut meets the end of the bolt threads for torque value. Tighten the nut to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
