Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the bolt attaching the oil pump to the rear crankshaft bearing cap.
3. Remove the oil pump and the driveshaft.
4. Inspect the driveshaft at both ends for rounding of the corners.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the oil pump and driveshaft.
2. Install the bolt attaching the oil pump to the rear crankshaft bearing cap.
- Tighten the oil pump bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the oil pan.
