Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Vacuum Reservoir Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the vacuum hose.
2. Remove the intake manifold tuning (IMT) valve solenoid. Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement.
3. Remove the IMT vacuum tank.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the IMT vacuum tank.

Tighten the IMT vacuum tank retaining bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

2. Install the IMT solenoid. Refer to Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Actuator Solenoid Replacement.
3. Install the vacuum hose.
