Seat Cushion Frame Replacement - Front

SEAT CUSHION FRAME REPLACEMENT - FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame.
2. Remove the power seat switch bracket screw, if equipped. Remove the bracket from the cushion frame.
3. Remove the wire harness rosebud retainer from the cushion frame (8), if equipped with power seats.
4. Remove the seat back recliner cable from the cushion frame (8).
5. Remove the seat back recliner bolts (5) from the cushion frame (8).
6. Remove the seat back as an assembly from the cushion frame (8).
7. Remove the seat adjuster bolts (9) from the cushion frame (8).
8. Remove the adjusters (2) from the cushion frame (8).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the adjusters (2) to the cushion frame (8).
2. Install the seat adjuster bolts (9) to the cushion frame (8).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the seat back assembly to the cushion frame (8).
4. Install the seat back recliner bolts (5).

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

5. Install the recliner cable to the cushion frame (8).
6. Install the wire harness rosebud retainer to the cushion frame, if equipped with power seats.
7. Install the power seat switch bracket to the cushion frame (8), if equipped. Install the power seat switch bracket screw.

Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

8. Install the front seat cushion cover and pad to the seat cushion frame.
