Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the rear wheels.

3. Remove the rear brake caliper and remove the rear disc brake and screw.





4. Remove the rear hub nuts-to-knuckle and the rear hub.

Installation Procedure





Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice.

1. Install the rear hub nuts-to-knuckle.

Tighten the rear hub nuts-to-knuckle to 65 Nm (48 lb ft).

2. Install the rear disc brake and the rear brake caliper.

Tighten the rear brake caliper bolts to 45 Nm (33 lb ft).

3. Install the rear brake disc screw.

Tighten the rear brake disc screw to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
