Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector.
3. Remove the CMP sensor.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the CMP sensor.

Tighten the camshaft position (CMP) sensor retaining bolt 12 Nm (106 lb in).

2. Connect the CMP sensor connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
