Rear Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution Safety Glasses Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the valve cover assembly. Refer to Control Valve Body Disassemble 24. Control Valve Body Disassemble.
2. Pull out the sealing sleeve, Brake C with a nail.
3. Rotate the transaxle 90 degrees.




4. Remove the rear cover bolts.
5. Tap the rear cover.
6. Remove the rear cover.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the cover.

Tighten the rear cover bolts to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).




2. Rotate the transaxle 90 degrees.

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution Safety Glasses Caution in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the sealing sleeve, Brake C.
4. Install the valve body assembly. Refer to Control Valve Body Assemble 25. Control Valve Body Assemble.
