Heater A/C Module Outer Seals:

Heater A/C Module Seal Installation Between The Upper And Lower Module:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Body hinge pillar tie bar-cross car beam.
2. Engine acoustic cover.
3. Drain cooling system.
4. Recover refrigerant. Refer to "Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Adding Oil, Evacuating and Charging Procedures".
5. A/C lines at evaporator block fitting.
6. Heater hoses at heater core.
7. Heater A/C module to dash nuts.
8. Heater A/C module bracket bolts.
9. Vacuum hoses.
10. Electrical connectors.
11. Heater A/C module.
12. All outer module seals.

Install or Connect

1. All outer module seals.
2. Heater A/C module.
3. Electrical connectors.
4. Vacuum hoses.
5. Heater A/C module bracket bolts.

Tighten
^ Bolts to 20 N.m (14 lb. ft.).

6. Heater A/C module to dash nuts.

Tighten
^ Nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).

7. Heater hoses at heater core.
8. A/C lines at evaporator block fitting.

Tighten
^ Bolt to 16 N.m (12 lb. ft.).

9. Evacuate, charge and leak test system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Adding Oil, Evacuating and Charging Procedures".
10. Fill coolant system and check for leaks.
11. Engine acoustic cover.
12. Body hinge pillar tie bar-cross car beam.
