Door Panel Creak

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Creak or squeak from one or all interior door panels. Noise can be heard when an occupant leans against door panel.
PARTS REQUIRED:
AR 4318028 3/16" by 1" Foam Tape
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This repair involves adding foam tape to the inside of the door trim panel.
1. Loosen and lift the affected door trim panel out of channel retainer at top of the door as described on Pages 23-19 and 23-27 of the 1994 Concorde/Intrepid/Vision/LHS/New Yorker Service Manual (Publication No. 81-270-4140). It is not necessary to completely remove the door trim panel to perform this repair.
2. Apply an 18" piece of foam tape, P/N 4318028, along the top inside horizontal edge of the door trim panel where it contacts the channel retainer.
3. Install the door trim panel.
