Transmission Cooler: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Remove the cowl plenum grille.
2. Disconnect lines from oil cooler (Fig. 1).
3. Remove oil cooler attaching screws.
4. Remove the oil cooler.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the transmission cooler on the radiator and install the mounting bolts.Tighten to 5 Nm (45 inch lbs.)
2. Connect the cooler hoses to the transmission cooler.
3. Install the cowl plenum grille.
4. Start engine and check transmission oil level. Adjust level as necessary.
