Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.2. Disconnect vacuum hose, then the electrical connector from servo.
3. Remove two nuts attaching throttle cable and mounting bracket to servo.
4. Remove three nuts attaching servo and bracket to fender.
5. Remove servo mounting bracket, then disconnect electrical connector and vacuum hose.
6. Pull cable away from servo to expose retaining clip, then remove clip.
7. With throttle in full open position, align hole in throttle cable sleeve with hole in servo pin, then install retaining clip.
8. Connect vacuum hose and electrical connector.
9. Position mounting bracket, then install three nuts attaching bracket to fender. Torque nuts to 95 inch lbs.
10. Insert servo studs through holes in throttle cable and mounting bracket.
11. Install nuts, then torque to 50 inch lbs.
