Seat Temperature Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Open the center floor console and remove the base mat.
3. Remove the power outlet panel (5) by grasping the lower access slot (4) and lifting up and rearward to release it from the console.




4. Lay the power outlet panel (3) down to access the module fasteners.
5. Remove the two fasteners securing the module (4).
6. Disconnect the wire harness connector (5) from the heated seat module (4).
7. Remove the heated seat module (4) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION




1. Position the heated seat module (4) into the vehicle center floor console (6).
2. Connect the wire harness connector (5) to the heated seat module (4).
3. Install the two fasteners securing the module (4) to the power outlet panel (3).
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
5. Check the heated seat system for proper operation.




6. Install the power outlet panel (5) by engaging the upper tabs into the console (6) and pushing the bottom forward until it snaps into place.
7. Install the console base mat.
