Shift Cable: Service and Repair

The shift mechanism must be removed to perform this procedure.
1. Disconnect cable from right side of transaxle support bracket.
2. Using a suitable screwdriver, open the bottom shift housing access door.
3. Disconnect cable from lower end of shifter.
4. Remove cable lock pin.
5. Disconnect cable from shifter housing.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Adjust cable.
