Power Mirror Motor: Service and Repair

1. Remove the glass assembly.
2. Remove the four screws retaining the motor to mirror.
3. Pull motor away from the outside rear view mirror.
4. Slide gasket off motor.
5. Remove cover plate from the back of the motor.
6. With the plate removed, note the wire connections. Disconnect the wires from motor.
7. Remove motor.
8. To install, reverse Removal procedure. The UP position of the motor is shown on the back.
