Auxiliary
REMOVAL1. Remove rear air conditioning and heating assembly.
2. Remove cover screws and heater housing core plate from case.
3. Remove the heater core and heater core case seal.
4. Remove cover screws and auxiliary A/C evaporator cover from case.
5. Disconnect evaporator to compressor suction line from A/C evaporator core.
6. Remove A/C evaporator core and rocker arm adjusting screw from case.
7. Loosen the thermostatic expansion valve compression fitting and remove A/C evaporator expansion valve from A/C evaporator core.
INSTALLATION
1. Install A/C evaporator core seal to tube end of A/C evaporator core.
2. Install A/C evaporator expansion valve and condenser to evaporator tube to A/C evaporator core.
3. Place A/C evaporator core in case.
4. Install new O-ring lubricated with clean refrigerant oil to evaporator to compressor suction line and install evaporator to compressor suction line to A/C evaporator core.
5. Wrap evaporator to compressor suction line with insulating tape.
6. Install auxiliary A/C evaporator cover and heater housing core plate to case.
7. Install the rear air conditioning and heating assembly.
8. Leak test, evacuate, and charge the refrigerant system following the recommended service procedures. Observe all safety precautions.
