Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove the liftgate latch as described.
2. Remove the liftgate door lock cylinder retainer (with the lock-to-latch rod still attached) from the liftgate.
3. Remove lock cylinder.

Installation

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
