Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Spark plug wires must be connected correctly. Failure to follow this instruction may result in poor engine performance.

1. If necessary, detach the spark plug wire.







2. Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug by slightly twisting while pulling upward.







3. NOTE: Remove foreign material with compressed air.

Remove the spark plug.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

4. Inspect the spark plugs.
5. Check and adjust the spark plug gap as necessary.







6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
