Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect wiring from switch.
2. Remove locknut, then the switch from brake pedal support.
3. Reinstall switch and locknut, then adjust switch as follows:
a. Connect ohmmeter across switch terminals.
b. Rotate switch toward brake pedal until ohmmeter indicates infinite resistance.
c. Rotate switch toward brake pedal an additional {1/2} turn, then tighten locknut and reconnect wiring.
