Description

Description
The Road Test is an evaluation of the 4EAT performance. The Road Test should only be run when the 4EAT Symptom Menu directs you here. The Road Test involves a driving evaluation of the transaxle shifting quality, ability, and timing. Shift problems will be directed to a list of symptoms for appropriate actions to take. Three symptom menus are given: Upshift, Downshift, and Shift Feel for various symptoms encountered. Problems with the electronic function of the solenoid valves will be directed to the disassembly and assembly procedures. Begin this procedure with Test Step OD1.

NOTE: It is recommended to test shift points more than once. Installation of the 4EAT Tester is Step 1.0 for Road Test.
