Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove two screws from back of steering wheel.
3. Pull steering wheel cover pad from steering wheel, then disconnect horn wire from pad. Remove steering wheel hub cover, then the horn switch assembly.
4. Remove steering wheel attaching nut.
5. Place an alignment mark between the steering wheel and steering shaft.
6. Using steering wheel puller T76L-3600-A, or equivalent, remove steering wheel.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering wheel attaching nut to 29-36 ft. lbs.
