Evaporator Case: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable from battery, then discharge refrigerant system.
2. Disconnect suction line from evaporator outlet fitting.
3. Disconnect high-pressure line from evaporator inlet fitting, then remove glove box attaching screws and glove box.
4. Disconnect cable from thermostat, then loosen wiring harness routing clamps from evaporator housing.
5. Loosen clamp screw securing connector duct to evaporator housing and disconnect drain hose.
6. Remove air inlet duct attaching bolt and bolt attaching base of evaporator housing to dash panel.
7. Remove nuts attaching top of evaporator housing to dash panel, then remove evaporator housing.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
