Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Service and Repair

Idle Speed Control-Bypass Air Valve R&R:

REMOVAL

1. Drain coolant to below level of valve.
2. Mark air and coolant hoses for ease of reassembly. Remove hoses from valve.
3. Unplug electrical connector.
4. Remove attaching bolts and lift off valve.

INSTALLATION

1. Position valve and install attaching bolts.
2. Plug in electrical connector.
3. Install air and coolant hoses. Refill cooling system.
4. Start engine and check for leaks.
