Water Pump: Service and Repair
1. Drain cooling system.2. Remove timing belt.
3. Disconnect lower radiator and heater hoses from water pump inlet.

4. Remove water pump attaching bolts and the water pump.
5. Ensure water pump and cylinder block mating surfaces are clean and free from old gasket material.
6. Coat both sides of water pump gasket with suitable sealer, then install gasket, water pump and attaching bolts. Tighten water pump bolts to 19-26 Nm (14-19 lb ft). Tighten water pump pulley bolts to 49-61 Nm (36-45 lb ft).
7. Connect lower radiator and heater hoses to pump inlet.
8. Install timing belt.
