Fuel Filler Cap: Service Precautions
WARNING:- Fuel tank may be pressurized. To remove, rotate fuel tank filler cap over one-half turn counterclockwise. If the fuel tank filler cap is venting fuel or a hissing sound is heard, wait until the condition stops before continuing to turn the fuel tank filler cap. If these precautions are not followed, fuel may spray and cause personal injury.
- Do not smoke, carry lighted tobacco or an open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited, resulting in possible personal injury.
