DESCRIPTION
The Vehicle Certification Label (VC Label) is affixed to the LH door jamb below the door latch striker plate. The upper half of the VC Label contains:
- Name of the manufacturer
- Month and year of manufacture
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)
- Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR)
- Certification statement
The VC Label also contains a 17-character Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) used for warranty identification of the vehicle.

The remaining information on the VC Label consists of the following vehicle identification codes:
- Exterior paint color
- Body type
- Interior trim fabric and color
- Radio type
- Axle ratio
- Transaxle type
