REMOVAL






1. Remove the four front seat cushion frame and spring bolts.
2. Remove the seat and track assembly.

CAUTION: To avoid possible damage to seat components, handle the front seat cushion frame and spring with care.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the seat and track assembly.

NOTE:
^ Before installing the seat and track assembly, ensure that the front seat back latch, front seat slide lock knob and the seat back release knob (passenger seat, 2-door models only) move smoothly and are not worn.
^ Apply Ford Multi-Purpose Grease D7AZ-19584-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specifications ESB-M1C106-B and ESR-M159-A to all moving parts prior to installation.



2. Install the four front seat cushion frame and spring bolts. Tighten the front seat cushion frame and spring bolts to 38-51 Nm (28-38 Lb-Ft).

NOTE: If installing the passenger seat, tighten the RH front seat cushion frame and spring bolt on the passenger seat track last.
