Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Mass Airflow Sensor:

2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

Intake Air Temperature Sensor:

3. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.

Intake Air Temperature Sensor:

4. Remove the IAT sensor.

NOTE: The upper engine air cleaner is shown removed for clarity.

6. Install the IAT sensor and tighten to 8-11 Nm (71-97 lb in).
7. Connect the IAT and MAF sensor electrical connectors.
8. Connect the battery ground cable.
