Front Wiper Motor

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: Make sure the windshield wiper motor is in the OFF position.







2. Remove the windshield wiper output arm cover.







3. Remove the the windshield wiper pivot arm nut.







4. Pull upward and twist to remove the windshield wiper pivot arm.
5. Raise and support the hood.







6. Remove the (A) five center cowl top vent grille retainers and screws, and the (B) two outer cowl top vent grille retainers, screws and washers. Remove the cowl top vent grille.







7. Lift the clip up and off the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.







8. Slide the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft off the windshield wiper motor.







9. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.







10. Remove the three windshield wiper motor bolts and the windshield wiper motor.












INSTALLATION
1. To install reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Ensure that the windshield wiper motor is in the park position before connecting the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.
